bbswitch-source software package provides Interface for toggling the power on NVIDIA Optimus video cards, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bbswitch-source
bbswitch-source is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bbswitch-source package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bbswitch-source *
You will get with bbswitch-source package name, version, architecture and description in a table
